SoCal Premier D2 Recap: Artesia DES FC Not Giving Up Hope

IRVINE, CA (April 29, 2024) - Artesia DES FC is still mathematically in this.

With the margins getting tighter, Artesia DES FC got goals from Alexander Escobedo, Jonathan Fuller and Jeremy Cuoto to earn a 3-2 victory over Viet OC FC in a SoCal Premier League match on Sunday, April 28 at Portola Springs Community Park.

Trailing Buena Park FC (11-5-1 overall) by five points with a match in hand, Artesia DES FC (10-3-3) can pull off the title in the Division 2 O.C. Region with two more wins and a loss by BPFC when it faces Mission Viejo FC on May 11.

On Saturday, Mission Viejo FC's Hector Flores scored twice and Conor Juric added another in a 3-0 win over Northeast Los Angeles FC at La Paz Intermediate School in Mission Viejo.
