SoCal Premier D1 Recap: Playmaker FC Gets Back On Track With Win

LA MIRADA, CA (November 18, 2024) - Playmaker FC had been missing goals.

Adan Villareal scored twice, and Magdiel Mendoza and Logan Mooney all had goals in the first half as Playmaker FC held on for a 4-2 win over Irvine FC Academy in a SoCal Premier League Men's 1st Division match at Barbour Stadium at Biola University on Sunday, Nov. 18.

It's the first win in four league matches for Playmaker FC (3-0-5 overall), which enters Raul Briones Cup play with an even goal differential.

Also on Saturday, Giovani Bernari converted a penalty kick as ASMG Elite went on to beat Buena Park FC 3-1 at Biola University, and Kevin Yeboah scored four goals and Ebrima Njie added three more as Real Sociedad Royals ran away with a 12-3 victory over Olympiacos CA at Pleasant View Park in Huntington Beach, CA.
