SoCal Premier D1 Recap: Real Sociedad O.C. Hands FCUK First Loss

IRVINE, CA (October 28, 2024) - Ebrima Njie got things started, again.

Njie scored the opening goal and Rivaldiho Acosta scored what proved to be the match-winner as Real Sociedad O.C. stayed unbeaten with a 2-1 win over FC United Kingdom in a SoCal Premier League Men's 1st Division match at Orange County Great Park on Sunday, Oct. 27.

It's the third consecutive victory for Real Sociedad Royals (5-1-0 overall), which continues to be tied with La Familia FC on 16 points after six match weeks.

On Thursday, Sadiq Khalil scored in the first half as Pateadores Academy defeated Playmaker FC 1-0 at Orange County Great Park.

Also on Sunday, Daniel Connell scored two goals as La Familia FC beat Buena Park FC 3-1 at Portola Springs Community Park, Irvine FC Reserves grabbed a 1-0 victory over AMSG Elite at Portola Springs Community Park, and William Hernandez had two goals as Medallo City FC toppled Olympiacos CA 5-2 at Orange County Great Park.
