SoCal Premier D2 Recap: Mission Viejo FC Keeps Pace in O.C.

HUNTINGTON BEACH (March 25, 2024) - Braden Phoenix was white hot for Mission Viejo FC.

Phoenix scored twice as Mission Viejo FC earned a 6-3 victory over Olympiacos CA II in a SoCal Premier League match on Saturday, March 23 at Pleasant View Park in Huntington Beach.

It's the second win on the road for Mission Viejo FC (6-2-7 overall), which snapped a three-match winless streak and remains seven points back of Artesia DES FC (8-3-3) as the season heads into the finals weeks.

On Sunday, Dong Pham netted two goals as Viet OC FC grabbed a 3-1 win over Irvine FC at Hicks Canyon Community Park in Irvine.
