SWPL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: La Familia FCs Max Rodriguez

LA MIRADA, CA (September 20, 2023) – La Famila FC midfielder Max Rodriguez has been selected SWPL Player of the Week.

Rodriguez scored from a 40-yard free kick and added an assist as La Familia FC dominated en route to an 8-0 victory over Inland Empire FC at Ralph M. Lewis Sports Complex in Fontana on Saturday, September 16.

Rodriguez was drafted by the Kansas City Comets (MASL) in 2022 but helped La Familia FC achieve promotion to SoCal Premier League Division One last season.

The SWPL Player of the Week is selected from nominations from league members.
