Cesar Dominguez Named SoCal Premier League Under-23 Division MVP

LA MIRADA, Calif. (August 5, 2022) – The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) is pleased to announce AS Los Angeles' Cesar Dominguez as the SoCal Premier League Men's Under-23 Division Most Valuable Player presented by Xara Soccer.

Dominguez led AS Los Angeles to the Men's Under-23 Division crown with a 4-1 victory at Glendale (CA) Sports Complex on Sunday, July 31, 2022.

“Cesar is definitely our team's most valuable player. He actually had more assists than goals this season,” AS Los Angeles Owner Harry Tachian said. “He's just an incredible all-around player.”

Dominguez tied for the division lead with 12 goals and added 16 assists in 11 matches for AS Los Angeles (9-1-1 overall), which won its first trophy at the Men's Under-23 level. 

A native of Los Angeles, Dominguez had three goals in the season-finale win over Inland Empire Republic FC, scoring twice in the first 10 minutes before adding a third with a penalty kick in the second half.
